Laura Linney has been hailed as one of the most popular actors. She is known as a strong actress but as at risk. Linney was born to a single, unmarried mother who worked as a nurse. Her interest in the theatre during time spent in the summer with her father, who was famous. She was a student of acting at Brown University, and later at Juilliard School. Within a mere two months after graduating the actress began her Broadway career. The following year she made her debut in TV and film. In the years since she's been in many TV productions, films and stage plays. She has been nominated for three Oscar Awards, five Tony Awards, and four Primetime Emmy Awards (including two Golden Globe Awards), as well as received numerous awards over her time on the stage. But despite the many awards, her passion for theater is still there, and she still performs in the stage and on screen.
