Amy Lou Adams is an American actress who has been praised for her role as cute and adorable characters. Adams was born to a U.S. Army officer in Italy and was raised in Castle Rock Colorado. In the mid-1990s, she began doing professional dance and performance at Boulder's Dinner Theatre in Colorado and Country Dinner Playhouse. She then moved to Minnesota and was cast in Drop Dead Gorgeous, a mock documentary film about beauty contests. The decade following her appearances in numerous famous films, including Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho (1960) and Living It Up by Martin and Lewis (a 1953 film).
