Richard B. Cheney an eminent public servant and entrepreneur is vice president of the United States. Cheney known as a popular figure within Washington politics, has served under four presidents from the United States. George W. Bush is the fourth. Bush picked Cheney in July 2000 to be his vice-presidential running mate commenting on Cheney's wisdom and judgment. Dick Cheney is a former Chief of Staff of a President, he served in Congress as well as also secretary of Defense. Republicans as well as Democrats alike respect his honesty. Cheney says the role he plays in the administration as that of an open and honest advisor to Bush. Cheney declared his delight at accepting the Republican vice-presidential nominee. He stated that he is looking forward working with a leader who can work together with people of diverse political beliefs and the same goals. Richard Bruce Cheney born Jan 30th, 1941 in Lincoln Nebraska, the son Richard Herbert Cheney the former Marjorie Lauraine Dickey. After 13 years of age, old, he moved together with family members into Casper located in western state of Wyoming, where his father ran the district for soil conservation in Casper for the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
